Schwarzenegger to Carry Torch

Van­cou­ver Sun pointed out today that Arnold Schwarzeneg­ger, Gov­er­nor of Cal­i­for­nia in the United States of Amer­ica, will carry the torch on Fri­day.  He was invited by Pre­mier Gor­don Campbell.

He is sched­uled to run at 7am.

  • I think Arnold Schwarzeneg­ger deserved to carry the torch in the relay, and here’s why. The man him­self is a superb ath­lete. Not only that, bil­lions if not mil­lions are exchanged Cal­i­for­nia and British Colum­bia in busi­ness and trade, whether it’s the film indus­try or export­ing hydro­elec­tric power.

    Cal­i­for­nia invested mil­lions into these games. In fact, buses were hired from Cal­i­for­nia to assist in host­ing the world here for pub­lic tran­sit. If it weren’t for them, we’d be screeeweed.
