The SFU Astronomy Club’s mandate is to promote and practice amateur astronomy and its related activities at SFU and in the greater community.
Club Events
Ancient Mayan Astronomical Festival & Spooky Movie Night (October 31, 2008) – This event is free, and is jointly organized by Starry Nights @ SFU, the SFU physics department, and the SFU student astronomy club. You do not have to be a member of SFU to attend: anyone with an interest in astronomy and Halloween is welcome!
